Commercial Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager / Customer Service Representative. The Account Manager must possess a Property & Casualty Insurance License as well as have solid knowledge of the daily activities of a commercial lines insurance agency.

The Account Manager acts as a liaison, provides product/services information and responds to customer inquiries efficiently and accurately. The Account Manager's goal is to ensure excellent service, adhere to the highest standards, and maintain a superior level of customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and service a book of commercial lines business
• Handle service items including but not limited to, policy changes, certificates of insurance, audits, and billing
• Provide outstanding customer service through open and interactive communication
• Promote growth of book of business by building sustainable relationships and trust with customers
• Market both new and renewal of accounts
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow best practice procedures, guidelines and policies

Required Experience & Skills

• Property & Casualty Insurance License required
• Familiarity with Applied EPIC
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Experience working with carriers such as: Citizens, Frankenmuth, Selective, Hartford, and Travelers
• Experience with MS Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven customer support experience or experience as a customer service representative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High school degree

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
